while you're using the browser, it'll still store information. so if you don't close it or the last time you closed it, it wasn't closed properly, the person can still access the information.
No browser can hide your info on browser history 100%.Can someone still see websites youve been to in internet explorer if you clear history and cookies?
Hi, my name鈥檚 Cody, and I鈥檓 working with the Internet Explorer Outreach Team to help answer questions that users might have about their copies of Internet Explorer.
If you're using the latest edition of Internet Explorer there is a new feature called ';InPrivate'; browsing that should allow you to ';prevent your browsing history, temporary Internet files, form data, cookies, and usernames and passwords from being retained by the browser, leaving no evidence of your browsing or search history.';
You can download Internet Explorer 8 RC 1 at http://www.microsoft.com/windows/interne鈥?/a>
To learn more about the InPrivate browsing feature, check out http://www.microsoft.com/windows/interne鈥?/a>
I hope this is helpful!
Thanks,
Cody

well i dont know im not good with computers but i noticed even if you do delete the hostory and the cookies, if someone looked something up on google you can type in something close to what they typed in and it will show up on the top of the screen and it will say something like ';recently stored on your computer';
