How do you clear your memory on your adress bar for the internet?

I go to youtube a lot, and everytime i type in ';www.y';, a big long list of things comes up underneath the adress bar. I need to know how to clear it so i can get rid of the long list...How do you clear your memory on your adress bar for the internet?
Depending on which version of browser you are using:





Assuming it is IE 7, click tools %26gt; delete browsing histort.


SAME WITH mozilla





Prior to IE 7 tools%26gt;options %26gt; clear history. You can set the history holding period.How do you clear your memory on your adress bar for the internet?
Go for Tools-%26gt;Internet Options. Under Browsing History, Delete all.
