hit tools at the top of the page and then internet options and the window pops up and you will see delete cookies, press it and then ok and then go to delete files and check the little box that says all offline content and hit ok and then finally hit delete history ok.Computer cookies. If u get rid of them does it clear your internet history? rest below?
I'm on a mac an do clear my history after a while. I like using the FireFox browser and set my cookies to accept but to ask each time. That way I keep the cookies I want and block the bad, and it remembers both. Every once in a while I start fresh on those even.
There are 3 parts to your info in browsers.
1. Cookies ( also holds some site info like user ID's)
2. History
3. Personal info (remembered passwords and user ID)
All these are separate from each other and deleting one does nothing to the others.
Yes, it clears all your internet history. But I know my pastor said he found a way to somehow go into the computer files and STILL find out what sites someone has been on! I wish I knew how to do that!
No, history and cookies are separate, although you can tell where a person has gone by looking at the cookies.
