In Firefox go to %26lt;Tools%26gt; %26lt;Options%26gt; %26lt;Privacy%26gt;





Under %26lt;History%26gt; deselect %26lt;remember what I enter into forms and the search bar%26gt;





Under %26lt;Private data%26gt; select %26lt;settings%26gt; and you can choose what you don't want Firefox to remember.





If you select %26lt;clear now%26gt; you will remove all the options you have ticked.





Under %26lt;Private data%26gt; and you can choose to have Firefox always clear your private data at close.

Or you can go to the tools menu and select ';clear private data';.





Check/uncheck what you want. Keep in mind that firefox's cache is the temporary internet files folder.
