Dario's solution works.

But... that doesn't mean you will have access to everything you want. For example, they would still have the ability lower the ';specify how many days Internet Explorer should save the list of websites you have visited.'; They could also reduce the ';Disk space use';. Both of these would hinder your ability to see what they were doing.

Also, if you install FireFox, it has a feature that says ';always clear my browsing history when FireFox closes';. When this is set, next time you launch it, you have no clue what-so-ever of anything the previous user did.

Your best bet is to look for some non-obtrusive monitoring software (I don't have any recomendations.. my daughter is only 3 months old so I'm not worried about it yet).
You can do this. You NEED to back up your registry before you do.

You are going to be editing the registry manually in order to make this happen, and IF you pooch your typing, you run a small chance of pooching the reg. BACK IT UP. there are instructions on the net for how to do that, but one easy way is to run ccleaner from ccleaner.com, run the registry cleaning util, and choose yes when it asks you to back up.

Now you have your registry backup:

1) Start %26gt; Run %26gt; Type ';regedit'; (no quotes) %26gt; Press ENTER

2) Navigate to this key:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software \Policies

\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Control Panel

If the key doesn't exist. make one.

3) You now need to modify the DWORD value called History. Again if doesn't exists, create it by right clicking in the right section of the window and selecting New, DWORD Value. call it “History” (again no quotes)

4) Now that you have either locaed or created the DWORD value History, double click on it, and change it's data from 0 to 1.

5) Close and re-open I.E.

Have a look. she should be greyed out.

This is slightly risky behavior, really really DO back your registry up please.
you can't BUT you can block them visiting site you do not approve of

one of the best products i have seen is k9 webfilter

it blocks all the junk like porn

the great thing is it requires a admin password that you create to access any blocked sites , it keeps a detailed record of every blocked site and the times , heck it even gives you the ability to shut all web traffic off at times you pick

best of all it's 100% FREE !!!!!!!!!!
