Firefox has a great function that allows the user to clear history when you close the browser. Does IE allow for the same thing? Or is there an add-on that I can get that will do it?How can I clear history in Internet Explorer 7 when I close my browser?
You can get to the same thing as said by the first answerer by going to Tools/Internet Options/General/Browsing History/delete. You also have the useful option of clicking on the settings button beside the delete button just mentioned. From there go to the bottom of the new box and choose how many days you want to keep the history. Also, at the top of that box click the ';never'; circle. I like CleanUp! by Stephen Gould for doing a good cleaning of caches, cookies, prefetch and junk files. How can I clear history in Internet Explorer 7 when I close my browser?
from inside the browser, click on tools, a window will open up. look where it says browsing history. click on where it says delete. then click on where it says delete all.
Go to tools on your browser click on internet options then click on advanced tab and scroll down to security and check the box that says clear temporary files. You will delete all your temporary files everytime you close your browser!
Right click on Internet Explore. In Browsing history click setting on Temporary internet files use Never and sett the days to keep in pages in history to 0.
In the internet tools/internet options, set the history to zero. It will not retain any history of sites visited.
You can find out the ';CCleaner'; software and setup it up into ypur computer. It will help your work a lot !
Good luck
no, it will work too, but why? lol, looking at some thing you shouldnt be looking at?, jk, you look for a button on the same row as the back buton and it will be a history button, but right click on the ';today'; section and click delete.
