How to clear computer internet history?

How do i clear my internet history on a vista laptop? Whenever i go to type anything in the ';www. '; box it comes up with a list! Its so annoying. Thanks .x.How to clear computer internet history?
Do the following steps in order:


1. Click on START (Located on the bottom left hand corner of the screen)


2. Click on CONTROL PANEL


3. Click on CLASSIC VIEW on the top left hand corner of the new window that opened after step 2.


4. Click on INTERNET OPTIONS.


5. In the new window that opened after step 4, click on the General tab at the top left hand corner.


6. Now you would see sub headings like: Home page, Browsing history etc. Under Browsing history click on the button named Delete.


7. A new window would open up after step 6. At the bottom of the new window you would see a button named Delete All. Click on that and all your browsing history including cookies and temporary files would be deleted.

in IE click tools, internet options, in general tab, you can choose delete all or delete history.





btw, you can go to the advance tab and check option ';Empty temporary internet files folders when browser is closed';
type in the search bar after clickin on blue circle, bottom left internet options, click on it and you will see browsing history, just delete it.
go to Tools at left top of page, scroll down to Internet Options, click on Delete browsing history then ok.
CONTROL 'H' - It asks to clear the history immediately. Good idea we all need some privacy!!
