Is there a marco that I can use to do this ?How do automatically clear history from Internet Explorer?
You can go download a program that does all that stuff or make a batch file to put on your desktop that will also do it.
Open notepad and put this in it.
cd\
cd C:\Documents and Settings\$username$\Local Settings\
del /Q /F Temporary Internet Files
echo Deleting Files
echo File Deleted
mkdir Temporary Internet Files
exit
Where the $username$ is put your user name and then say it as a .bat file and put the shortcut on your desktop...
But i would suggest just downloading a program that does it all for you....
Or just setup ie to empty the cache and stuff on exit. look on google and i bet you will find many ways to do what you want....How do automatically clear history from Internet Explorer?
on internet explorer, go to tools, options, advanced.. scroll down to security.. check mark the box which says - empty temporary internet files folder when browser is closed...
Very simple. Go to Tools and delete Browsing History.
Click on Tools and then look for the Browsing History section. There you should find a Settings button. Click on that and another window should pop-up. There should be 2 sections, Temporary Internet files and History. Go to the History section the select zero days to keep pages in history. Then click OK, then when you're back to the Internet Options window, click Apply and then OK.
