How do I clear my Mozilla firebox internet history?

im useing firefox atm, but when I go to history and try to clear it, it wont delete or nothing can someone help?How do I clear my Mozilla firebox internet history?
If you have the latest version of Firefox, go to:


1)Tools


2)Options


3)Privacy


3)Scroll down to were it says ';Clear Now,'; it will give you a short list of what you can clear, such as caches, cookies, browser history, etc. Choose any of them and click ';Clear Private Data Now'; and your history should be cleared.
