How do you clear the internet history?

i have a dell 1520 and windows vista basic with at%26amp;t internet, how do you clear the history, so that when you type something it doesn't come up previous things, or if you press the arrow you don't see nething?How do you clear the internet history?
go to the start bar, the ';control panel'; then inside that, double click the ';internet options'; folder, it should be right there on the first page.How do you clear the internet history?
To delete browsing history with internet explorer go to tools%26gt;options%26gt;delete files%26gt;cookies%26gt;browsing history and delete. then go to the search boxes in yahoo/google/or others click the V right side of the search box and clear search history.





For firefox go to tools and click clear private data. then go to the search boxes in yahoo/google/or others click the V right side of the search box and clear search history.
