on enternet explorer click on tools, then click on delete cookis and history then you can choose if you just wanna delete the cookies or all. The browsing history on the upper left of the screen you see yellow star, click on it and delete the history from there if you don't want someone to see where you've been.

Hiding something ha?

Well if its not your own computer or if you have kids its better to delete it too because they can accidentally open it see the thing that their not suppose to see if there is any.

Dolby is correct, but those history items are STILL on your hard drive. If you have anything on there that is illegal and your computer is confiscated, there is a way they can read you hardrive. Nothing goes away until you overwrite it many times and still they have ways of finding things.

A more secure way is to overwrite the files immediately with a program such as Window Washer or CCleaner which allows you to set the number of times you want each file overwritten. Some say 3 times is enough others say to go to the max and set it for 36 times. This means each file you have deleted from your temporary internet file cache is overwritten 36 times as well as your cookies that were stored.

CCleaner is free by the way and does a good job. Just do a search for ';CCleaner';..
You have to open your history toolbar - for IE6 click the buttom at the top that looks like a clock with a green arrown going counterclockwise. For IE7 you have to access history via your favorites toolbar.

Find the day, or days that you went to this web site. Right click on those folders and select delete.

Good luck. Update your question of you get stuck.
I like the ccleaner answer however you can also clear your temp files.

You can do this by opening My Computer, Go to your Folder Options and uncheck hide protected system files.

Look under your profile on the computer(however your logged in) and you will see local settings%26gt;temp.
Did you try deleting the ';cookies'; %26amp; ';files'; ? ....

ok - after reading Dolby's answer, my answer looks really stupid :)
