Why isn't a video's picture clear enough when you watch it on the internet?

But when you see it in the theater or on TV or on DVD, the picture is great? Or will that change too?Why isn't a video's picture clear enough when you watch it on the internet?
Because the resolution of the video on the internet has been reduced to make the file size smaller. There are some video's that are very high resolution, but the file size is so big that unless you have a high speed broadband connection they wouldn't play well or it would take hours to download...Why isn't a video's picture clear enough when you watch it on the internet?
Well Jb the video on the net has less quality and is no that great, what your referring to is that when you watch a video on Tv it has more quality right, its a case of formats and you can only watch good quality videos on net if its resolution or quality is of high quality.

The better the video looks the more space it has and more time to download/upload.
update your video card

to find out what you have

go to your start menu and type device manager

then find where it says display adapters and then go to the manufacturer of your pc and then save it to your desktop and then update
Watching video on the internet involves large amount of data being transferred. In an internet connection such large amounts of data can't be transferred so fast and so the video is not clear
Your Internet connection speed if slow will do this because of the down load time. Some video's are not made as well as commercial ones used for general public viewing. Do you have dial up or DSL, cable satellite connection.

Hope this helps
Hey,

YouTube videos are converted to FLV videos, which has the less quality, for example a video is in MPEG4 format, YouTube now converts it to FLV videos.. which gives the video less quality
