How do i clear the history of my internet search bar that appears on my home page?

its a little more to it than going to tools and clearing the historyHow do i clear the history of my internet search bar that appears on my home page?
Tools %26gt; Internet Options %26gt; Delete Browsing History %26gt; Delete all (or Delete forms).

If your using Firefox just go to Tools and click ';Clear Private Data';. If your not using Firefox I recommend getting it (you can even set it up so it clears the cache every time you close the browser!).

If your really concerned about privacy, there are still traces of your online activity stored in the registry and ';index.dat'; files that cannot be removed from within your browser. CCleaner will remove these ';index.dat'; files making future recovery very difficult. CCleaner is free and removes all traces of your online activities (highly recommended). How do i clear the history of my internet search bar that appears on my home page?
go to tools internet options autocomplete and then select clear all forms
In Internet Explorer 6, click on Tools and then Internet Options. Click on Clear History. You will then see a window asking you to confirm. Just click Yes, and the history of visited Web sites will be gone. If you have Internet Explorer 7, it's under Tools, Delete Browsing History.
