ok so ive seen some stuff i shouldnt have at work, and ofcourse they have the option to delete the history greyed out. how would i be able to delete my browsing history from the pc?Clear internet history on a pc from work?
if it is an XP computer then they could have the right click internet options greyed out. Open the browser goto tools, internet options, then delete browsing history. If this is greyed out just go straight to delete browsing history. If this is greyed out then close the browser, right click the icon, click internet options, then delete browsing history. If this too is not available, then there is no other way (that i know of of course) that would work. If it is Vista, the right click option will not work. You could try to run it as administrator if you have acess, but if not, try to keep your internet experiments at home.Clear internet history on a pc from work?
Depending on the company size, many companies save your browsing history into a central mainframe every 3 hours or so. This information may be reviewed at a later date if they wish to investigate their employees internet usage activities.
If you do not hear from them in about 30 days you are most likely safe, but if your usage continues to raise red flags you will be speaking to your supervisor.
Open the History section as if you wanted to visit a page you already have been to. Then delete everything in there by right clicking the link and then clicking Delete.
