The reason why websites appear is because they're on your bookmarks.Is there any way to completely clear your internet history on firefox?
The sites you see when you start typing in the box are probably either built into Firefox, or more likely they're bookmarked sites. Just delete your bookmarks and you'll see that list reduced dramatically if not eliminated.
In the future, you can upgrade to Firefox 3.5 and it will allow you to start a ';private browsing session'; that will not remember anything you did (passwords, sites, etc) while you're in that mode. That way you don't have to worry about people stumbling over your pornogra--- er, ';private'; sites. ;-)
Once you have cleaned, the only sites that show up in the address bar are the ones you have bookmarked. You will have to delete your bookmarks to clear those
delete firefox and get SRWare Iron. Its free and has porn mode which when run will open a new window that saves nothing you do. its Ctrl+N or somethign
