How to clear internet history - undeletable web addresses?

When I go to Internet Options, and choose clear internet history, some links clear while others stay.

Click Tools at the top of your screen, then select Internet Options, Click ';Clear History';, then Click ';Delete Files';.





Now Click on the Content tab.





Under Personal information click on the AutoComplete box.





On the AutoComplete Settings window click the Clear Forms box to delete your current history.





You can uncheck the Forms box if you want to permanently stop the generation of the search history.

Let us try the following.


- Clear history and cookies


- Delete temporary internet files


Both 1 and 2 are in Internet options from Control panel


- Go to C: %26gt; Documents and settings %26gt; YourUserName %26gt; Local settings %26gt; Temp


and delete every thing here


(If you could not see Local settings, type it in address bar)


- Restart computer and try again


- Mark me as best answer if the problem goes with the wind

Hmm there are a lot of apps out there that will do that for you but if you want to do it yourself go into tools - internet options - then under the general tab there is a couple of options that will do it for you. If you haven't already got it get IE 7.0 which has tabbed browsing and a very good option for getting rid of the things you are trying to get rid of!

first tools, Internet options, delete cookies, delete files (click delete all offline content) clear history (make it 20 days)


but this doesn't get rid off all off them


go to search type ';cookies'; and select all and delete them if it says it cant delete in 5's and leave the final one or two you cant delete


also search ';temp'; and temp and temporary Internet files will come up delete the ones you can


also go to google and delete all searches you've made


finally do a spy ware and virus search download.com will have free versions


if that don't work learn to live with it!

go tools internet options delete cookies then delete files then delete history if that does not work click on the little clock on the taskbar thin you know above where you type the internet addy and manualy delete
click tools click internet options and then click clear history
go to tool, thaen go down to options, u will know the rest
go to the history on the web and righ click on the websites you want to get rid off and delete them.
